2012 Atlanta Braves Pitching Preview

The Atlanta Braves ‘ hefty down turn during the last month of the 2011 season let the St. Louis Cardinals to squeak into the playoffs and afterwards take home the World Series. Atlanta led St. Louis by 8.5 games in Sep and would hold on to the margin until the last day of the regular season. It is a tough pill to swallow for recently employed manager Fredi Gonzalez, who failed to get to the playoffs notwithstanding an 89-73 mark. Atlanta failed to make big changes nonetheless , and the squad will stick it out with most of its roster untouched. Here are the projected starting rotation and bullpen situation. Preview Of The 2012 Washington Nationals Starters & Closer

Ever since moving to the nation’s capital in 2005, the Washington Nationals have not had a lot to become excited about. But there are some folks who think that the Nationals are finally primed to become a heavy contender in the National League East after ending up third in its division with an 80-81 mark. Washington is expecting their best pitcher, Stephen Strasburg, to be able to pitch for them for an entire season. Except for that, they went and dealt for Gio Gonzalez to give them another young and strong thrower in the head of their rotation.
